Vaginal yeast infections (diflucan-bavaroxON®): This agent is used to treat vaginal yeast infections (avaroxON®). It prevents yeast infections by reducing the growth of healthy organisms and relieves symptoms such as burning, itching, and discharge.
Fluconazole is an antifungal medication that is used to treat a variety of fungal infections. It is often prescribed to individuals with certain types of vaginal and reproductive health issues. Diflucan is a fluoroquinolone, and it can be used to treat certain types of fungal and yeast infections.
Diflucan works by inhibiting the growth and spread of a fungal or yeast infection, allowing your vagina and penis to harder. It is often used in conjunction with creams and other vaginal products to treat vaginal yeast infections.
Common side effects of fluconazole may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and a high-fat meal. Fluconazole may also cause photosensitivity (increased skin sensitivity to sunlight), Stevens-Johnson syndrome, acute kidney injury, and severe kidney failure. Seek medical attention if these side effects persist for longer than a few days after taking fluconazole.
It is important to inform your doctor of any allergies, current medications, or dietary supplements you are taking. Fluconazole may interact with certain medications, including nitrates used for chest pain, alpha-blockers prescribed for high blood pressure, certain antibiotics, and other medications (e.g., antibiotics) that are used to treat HIV infection.
Diflucan may cause dizziness, drowsiness, and blurred vision. Patients should not drive or operate machinery until they know how fluconazole affects them. Patients should avoid activities that require mental alertness, such as falling or staying on top of heavy objects, until fluconazole works.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a number of fluconazole drugs for the treatment of certain fungal infections, including vaginal yeast infections, oral candidiasis, and fungal infections of the skin, mouth, vagina, and eyes.
There are no serious side effects with the use of fluconazole. However, if you notice any serious side effects or have any questions about your health, contact your doctor.
For the best treatment for your vaginal and oral candidiasis, it is important to follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor. The typical dose for candidiasis ranges from 500 mg to 1,000 mg per day for 7 to 14 days.
Determining the right dose for you will depend on the type of yeast infection your doctor is treating. Your doctor will determine the right dosage for you based on your medical history, symptoms, and response to treatment.
Your doctor will determine the most appropriate treatment based on factors such as the severity of the infection, the type of medication you are taking, and any other medications you are taking.
Thrush is a fungal infection, commonly caused by a type of yeast called candida. Although candida is naturally present in the body, an imbalance can trigger thrush symptoms. Fluconazole 150mg (also known as Diflucan and other brand names) kills certain types of fungi and restores your body's natural balance.
Fluconazole treatment for thrush is simple - just one capsule to be swallowed with a glass of water. You can take this medicine at any time of day, with or without a meal.
Women taking fluconazole should see an improvement within a few days. Some women will notice improvement in 24 hours.
For men, the condition can take a little longer to clear up. The symptoms should clear up within a few days, although this can take up to a week.
If your condition hasn't cleared up within one week, you should consult a doctor.
Thrush is an infection which can occur without sexual contact, so it is not a sexually transmitted disease. However, the infection can be passed on during sex, so it is recommended that you should not have sex until the infection has cleared up.
If you regularly suffer from thrush, then it's advisable that both you and your partner have thrush treatment at the same time.
Taking too much can make you unwell, so contact your doctor or nearest hospital immediately if you take more than you should.
As with any medicine, there are side effects. Although a serious allergic reaction to fluconazole is rare. Common side effects (occurring in one in ten patients) include nausea, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, wind, rash and headache. However, these side effects are usually mild and don't tend to last long. If symptoms persist, or are particularly severe, contact your doctor.

A large number of different types of fungus which can affect the knees, neck, shoulder and back, although these are the most common, are able to cause serious problems. The best treatment for you depends on your cause and the type of fungus which you are treating.
Fluconazole is used to treat serious fungal or yeast infections, including vaginal candidiasis, oropharyngeal candidiasis (thrush, oral thrush), esophageal candidiasis (candida esophagitis), other candida infections (including urinary tract infections, peritonitis [inflammation of the lining of the stomach], and infections that may occur in different parts of the body), or fungal (cryptococcal) meningitis. It is also used in children on life support called extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). This medicine works by killing the fungus or yeast, or preventing its growth. Fluconazole is also used to prevent candidiasis in patients having bone marrow transplants who receive cancer or radiation treatment.
Direction to Use:
DIFLUCAN® ONE is administered orally. Use in AdultsFor vaginal candidiasis, fluconazole 150 mg (DIFLUCAN® ONE) should beadministered as a single oral dose. The median time to onset of symptom relief following a 150 mg single oral dose for thetreatment of vaginal candidiasis is one day. The range of time to onset of symptomrelief is one hour to nine days. Use in ChildrenSingle dose fluconazole is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of ageexcept under doctor supervision.
Side Effects
Common fluconazole side effects include nausea, headache, and stomach pain. Diarrhea is also possible. Mild side effects tend to resolve on their own or go away when you finish your treatment course. Serious fluconazole side effects such as skin rash, liver damage, and heart rhythm changes are also possible
